Privacy policy
Crumble collects nothing and sends nothing.
No data leaves your browser
Crumble has no account, no analytics, no telemetry and no servers, and it makes no network requests. Pages open only when you click a link, such as this policy or "Report a problem".
What it stores in your browser
- Your rules, settings and a log of the last 50 cleanups (site names, counts and reasons; never cookie values).
- The addresses (origins only, no paths) of sites still waiting for their site data to be cleaned, removed as soon as they are cleaned.
- In memory only, cleared when the browser closes: the open-tab list, scheduled cleanups, and for 2 minutes after a cleanup, the deleted cookies so you can undo.
Reports and uninstalling
"Report a problem" opens a prefilled form with the extension and browser versions, your settings (no rules) and the last three cleanups as counts. You see and edit everything before sending. Uninstalling may open a short optional feedback page; nothing about you is added to its address.
